Automatic Rockwool Cutting and Feeding System

Rockwool Square Strip Cutting Machine Description:


The entire Rock wool Cutting and Feeding System consists of a hoist, slitting and cutting machine, steering conveyor, 90° flipping, alignment, clamping transmission, side grooving device, and dust removal device. From the moment the rock wool is placed onto the roller conveyor, it undergoes conveying, hoisting, pushing, slitting and cutting, corner conveying, guiding conveying, 90° flipping, alignment, clamping and conveying, grooving, edge trimming, steel plate adhesive spraying, and polyurethane injection before entering the main machine; the entire production process is fully automated.
A. Lifting and Pushing System

The roller conveyor transports stacked rock wool into the lifter; the lifter lifts the stacked rock wool in descending order; the pushing device pushes the lifted rock wool board onto the conveyor rollers of the slitting and cutting machine.
The lifter consists of a conveyor roller conveyor, a lifting device, and a propulsion device.

B. Slitting and Cutting Machine

The front clamping roller drives the rock wool slab into the cutting device; the cutting device cuts the rock wool slab into strips. Depending on the sandwich panel thickness, the slitting cutter shaft is equipped with a series of slitting cutters and different cutter spacings; the rear clamping roller conveys the rock wool strips to the corner conveyor device, which turns the rock wool strip 90° and conveys the sheet to the main line.
The slitting and cutting machine consists of a front pinch roller, a cutting device, a rear pinch roller, and a corner conveyor.

Process Flow
Pinch roller feeding → Cutting device cuts rock wool slabs → Pinch roller feeding → Conveying device conveys rock wool strips at 90° turn → Guide conveyor belt conveys rock wool strips
C. 90° Rotation and Alignment

The conveyor belt conveys rock wool strips into the rotation device; the active continuous rotary rotation device rotates each rock wool strip 90°, ensuring the cut surface faces upwards and accumulating the number. When the designed number of strips is reached, the alignment device conveys a row of rock wool strips to the main production line.
The 90° flipping and aligning system consists of a conveyor belt, an active rotary flipping device, and an aligning device.

D. Grooving Device

The grooving device performs edge trimming and grooving on the sides of the board according to the board width and shape requirements; the edge trimming and grooving device is adjustable laterally.
The grooving device consists of a conveyor roller conveyor, grooving unit, edge trimming unit, pressure rollers, and side guide unit. The design of the grooving device takes into account the synchronization of conveying and fully meets the grooving requirements of the board type, while striving for a compact and aesthetically pleasing structure to save production space.
